Asbestos Designated Person

Training for anyone who is in charge of a school district's AHERA/Asbestos program, or who needs to understand the paperwork that must be completed every 6 months, 12 months and 3 years. This course will give you experience analyzing test results for asbestos, completing required paper work and how to assess condition of asbestos containing material.


   
Asbestos Operations and Maintenence

2 day course. Can be taken the first two days of the Asbestos Supervisor Course. The course is designed for people that may be disturbing small amounts of asbestos (typically 3 square feet or three lineal feet) during the course of their work, ie: plumbers and electricians. Topics include: background, health effects, personal protective equipment, and recognizing deteriorated asbestos. Required under the AHERA rule for schools and OSHA regulations.
