Shelley A. Bruce - Asbestos and Lead Certification Program

Ms. Bruce attended the University of Nottingham and Luther College,
where she received the Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She continued her
studies in adult education and organizational development at the Graduate School
of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was awarded the Master of Science
degree in continuing and vocational education. She has worked for the Wisconsin
Department of Health and Family Services since 1983. During her tenure, she has
served as a training officer for the Division of Care and Treatment Facilities,
the Bureau of Quality Compliance, and for the Division of Public Health.
Currently, she supervises the asbestos and lead certification program in the
Bureau of Environmental and Occupational Health. Her work unit is responsible
for certifying individuals and companies involved in regulated asbestos and lead
activities, for regulatory and work practice compliance and enforcement of
asbestos and lead abatement and management activities in Wisconsin, and for
asbestos and lead training course approvals, ongoing quality assurance and
enforcement. In addition, Ms. Bruce taught at Iowa Lakes Community College for
three years in the hotel, motel and restaurant program.

George has twenty-five years of experience in government affairs, public
policy advocacy, and community development, with a focus on health care and
housing policy issues. Graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with
a degree in Political Science. He has served as community organizer for
neighborhood organizations in Milwaukee, Madison, and Providence, Rhode Island;
Milwaukee organizer for the state-wide Wisconsin Action Coalition/Citizen
Action, a grassroots public interest organization; Wisconsin state legislative
aide; electoral campaign consultant. Currently responsible for organizing
regional and state-wide coalitions and partnerships of health care, housing, and
youth-serving community organizations, businesses, and government agencies
committed to eliminating childhood lead poisoning in Wisconsin by 2010. George
also serves as the loving grandfather of Luca, his wonderful 18 month old
grandson.
Mark Davis - Southeast Regional Asbestos Inspector

Mark is a native of the Oshkosh WI Area. He obtained a BS degree in
Conservation from Kent State University in Kent Ohio in 1986. He worked for the
Akron Regional Air Quality Management District as a Sanitarian from Oct 1988
thru July 1 2001. Mark participated in an Intergovernmental Personnel Act loan
program between the city of Akron and with Region 10 of the USEPA for 13 months
running The State of Idaho's Asbestos Program single-handedly. Mark was the
State of Wisconsin's Asbestos Program Coordinator from July 1 2001 until January
of 2006 when he accepted a position with the WDNR's Southeast Regional Office as
the Regions Asbestos Inspector. Mark enjoys backpacking and being outdoors.

Ada Duffey has been involved in the lead and asbestos industries for over 16
years, and is President of Wisconsin's largest lead training provider, Milwaukee
Lead/Asbestos Information Center, Inc. Milwaukee Lead/Asbestos Information
Center, Inc. conducts statewide asbestos training. Over 90% of the individuals
that are lead certified in the State of Wisconsin have been trained by her lead
and asbestos training company. Milwaukee Lead/Asbestos Information Center, Inc.
was the first training provider in the United States to receive EPA
accreditation of their courses. Milwaukee Lead/Asbestos has conducted
Wisconsin�s Mold seminars since 2002. Ada has conducted over 1200 pre-demolition
asbestos inspections in condemned housing in Milwaukee's central city as well as
hundreds of other pre-demolition and pre-renovation inspections throughout
Wisconsin. Ada also owns and operates both commercial and residential real
estate in the Bay View area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ada is a Certified Asbestos
Supervisor, Certified Asbestos Inspector, Certified Asbestos Management Planner,
Certified Asbestos Project Designer, Certified Lead Supervisor, Certified Lead
Risk Assessor, and is a NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry)
Certified Lead Carpenter, and Certified Remodeler and a Certified Public
Accountant.
William A. Freeman � President

William A. Freeman, CHMM/CIAQP is president at the Safety/Environmental
consulting firm of Environmental Management Consulting, Inc. (EMC). He received
his Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Occupational Safety from the
University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 1986 and 1998 respectively. In addition,
serves in the capacity of a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
and Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP). Mr. Freeman is a member
in good standing with the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA),
Federation of Environmental Technologists, Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA),
and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH). Mr.
Freeman has written and lectured on occupational safety and indoor air quality.
With more than 20 years experience in occupational health and safety, Mr.
Freeman is well rounded in all aspects. Mr. Freeman�s firm currently serves over
100 Wisconsin school districts with safety and environmental compliance
assistance. Mr. Freeman works with many Wisconsin school districts in solving
indoor air quality issues and has successfully managed numerous indoor air
quality remediation projects.

John received hi Bachelor of Science � Life Science, from the University of
Wisconsin � Parkside. He received his Master of Public Health in Environmental
Health from the University of Minnesota. He is a certified Industrial Hygienist
and Hazardous Materials Manager. John worked at the University of Minnesota
Department of Environmental Health and Safety for 5 years, at the City of
Milwaukee Health Department � Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program for 3
years, at the City of Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services completing
numerous asbestos permit inspections for 4 years, and working for OSHA as a
Compliance Safety and Health Officer for 6 years.
Sandy Miller � Hazardous Waste Coordinator

Sandy Miller has been with the Wisconsin Department of Natural resources for
24 years. She worked as a lab technician in the air management program for 8
years before transferring to the hazardous waste program in 1986. During her 16
years in the hazardous waste program, she has inspected hundreds of facilities
that handle hazardous waste, including generators, transporters and treatment
and storage facilities. She has been involved in a number of civil and criminal
enforcement cases referred to the Department of Justice. She also audits
facilities used by the State of Wisconsin for treatment, storage and disposal of
hazardous waste. Presently she is the Southeast Region Hazardous Waste
Coordinator and is a member of the statewide hazardous waste team. She received
a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology from Carroll College,
Waukesha in 1986 and was certified as a hazardous materials manager (CHMM) in
1997.

Melissa O�Neill is an Environmental Hygienist for the City of Milwaukee
Department of Neighborhood Services. She is a graduate of Marquette University
with a B.S. in chemistry. For the past six years, she has inspected over 600
projects and has been involved with several large, high profile projects.
Melissa is currently enrolled at the Milwaukee School of Engineering working
towards a M.S. in Environmental Engineering.

Received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Environmental and Public Health
in December 1994 from UW Eau Claire. Employed with the DHFS Asbestos and Lead
(Pb) Program since May 95 having performed (AHERA) school asbestos enforcement
inspections under grant with the EPA, enforcement inspections of HFS 159
(Asbestos certification) and enforcement inspections of HFS 163 (Lead
certification).
Sara Schubert Mishefske - Division Manager, Home Environmental Health

Ms. Schubert Mishefske has been working with the City of Milwaukee Health
Department�s Division of Home Environmental Health since 1994, beginning as the
Public Health Educator for the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program and
then continuing to assume roles of progressive responsibility in the areas
of community education, community outreach, community organizing and program
management. Ms. Schubert Mishefske was responsible for the creation and
expansion of the Milwaukee Community Capacity Projects (CCP), which have won
both a HUD�s Best Practice Award and an award from NACCHO (the National
Association of City and County Health Officials). Her collaboration with
community-based organizations has continued to promote lead-safe and healthy
housing and integrate lead poisoning and asthma prevention concepts into broader
neighborhood improvement agendas. Most recently, Ms. Schubert Mishefske was
promoted to manage the Division of Home Environmental Health, and serves as
senior staff to the Commissioner of Health. In this role, she provides
leadership for strategic planning, program development and supervision of over
40 staff working to reduce health disparities caused by the home environment,
including the prevention of: childhood lead poisoning, childhood asthma,
unintentional injuries and tobacco control. In addition to completing advanced
studies in public health, Ms. Schubert has had extensive training and experience
in project development and community organizing.

Since March 1998, Mr. Wsol has specialized in outreach and training
activities throughout the six states comprising Region5. A member of the Lead
Team, Mr. Wsol is a frequent speaker at seminars, conferences and public
meetings. Additionally, he regularly participates in industry conferences and
trade shows as an exhibitor and as speaker. Prior to
joining EPA Mr. Wsol has had extensive classroom and conference training
experience in financial services. Mr. Wsol holds a MMA in Management from The
Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University.
